Nanclares, Dandelion 2022

Alberto Nanclares is an Albariño winemaker like no other. Farming a tiny 2.2 hectare plot (split into 12 parcels) in the Rías Baixas, he is solely devoted to this gorgeous grape variety. After a few years of conventional farming, he decided to abandon chemical treatments altogether and became fully biodynamic. His vineyards, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, benefit from daily sea breezes while the granitic soils bring incredible minerality and freshness to his wines. Simply put: Alberto makes serious wines for serious winelovers. Dandelion is made from 100% organically farmed Albariño and is a true celebration of what Alberto does best. Citrussy, zesty and vibrant, it bursts with notes of lemon peel, green apple and honey; which moves to a racy acidity on the palate with more flavours of grapefruit, melon and the classic salinity that only the best Albariño gives you.
